Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the face to face short course and "on-demand" online version?

The face to face short course includes daily meals and course dinner, additional practical teaching and networking for presenters.

The on-demand program includes recordings of all sessions + online support

Anyone who can attend in person is encouraged to do so, but the on-demand program is available for anyone unable to attend in person.

What certification will I receive on completion of the program?

This is an advanced professional development program run through the Central Northern Adelaide Renal and Transplantation Service. Participants who complete all components of the program will receive a certificate of completion which is recognised by the Dietitians Association of Australia APD program.

Is the Renal Nutrition Program held at other times of the year?

No. As the program runs for 8-9 months of the year it is only offered once per year as a face to face “short-course” .

If unable to attend in September the on-demand program is available to commence year round.

Can the face to face component of the Renal Nutrition Program be run outside of Adelaide?

The Renal Nutrition Program is based in Adelaide; however in special circumstances it is possible to run it overseas.

Online teaching is available for overseas participants.

Enquiries should be directed to  convenor@renalnutritionprogram.com

Do I need to pay a deposit or the full amount to be added to the waiting list?

No. You will not be charged any fees until we invite your registration at a later date.
